Highlights from your Krakow river cruise
1/8
Wawel Royal Castle
Towering above the Vistula River, Wawel Castle dominates the skyline with its Renaissance courtyards, defensive walls, and cathedral towers. From the water, you’ll see the full hilltop complex stretching along the riverbank.
Wawel Cathedral
Look for the cathedral’s golden dome and slender spires rising beside Wawel Castle. From mid-river, the structure appears layered above limestone cliffs, offering one of the most recognizable views in Krakow’s skyline.
Church on the Rock (Skałka)
This historic Baroque church stands close to the Vistula’s edge in the Kazimierz area. Its pale façade and green domes appear prominently from the water as the cruise moves along Krakow’s southern riverbanks.
Kazimierz riverbanks
As your boat glides past the historic Jewish quarter, you’ll see tree-lined boulevards and riverside walkways framing the district. From the river, the relaxed atmosphere and historic skyline unfold gradually along the banks.
Manggha Museum of Japanese Art & Technology
The museum’s sweeping modern roofline contrasts with Krakow’s historic architecture. Located directly across the river from Wawel Hill, it creates a striking visual juxtaposition of contemporary design and royal heritage.
Bernatka Footbridge
This sleek pedestrian bridge connects Kazimierz and Podgórze. Suspended sculptures of acrobats hang along the cables, appearing to float above the river—one of Krakow’s most unusual sights from the water.
Podgórze riverfront
Across the Vistula from Kazimierz lies Podgórze, where modern apartments and restored riverbanks meet historic industrial buildings. The mix of old and new architecture becomes especially noticeable from the middle of the river.
Vistula Boulevards
These lively riverside promenades run beneath Wawel Hill and through central Krakow. From the cruise, you’ll spot cyclists, cafés, and locals relaxing along the waterfront while the city’s historic skyline rises behind them.

Very cool tour! Very glad we picked a guided tour with Natalie as I think the museum could be hard to navigate solo. Natalie gave a very informative tour and it was a great learning experience. My only issue was that it seemed tours were overlapping with eachother so sometimes the areas got rather overcrowded with people, I'd suggest spacing out the tours more

Our educator was brilliant. Very informative and respectful
Went a great pace around both camps.
Part of our group knew a lot about the holocaust and some didn't.
We all came away feeling that we had seen and learned things no one should have too.

From start to end this was great experience. We met our hosts then given a landyard and headset. That worked well. The guided tour begins straight away before you get to the castle. Our guide had lots of knowledge and history to share. Well worth it, the castle and cathedral are so good. Highly recommend.
